"Super easy to get to"

"and the desserts were honestly so good"
and I actually went in mostly for dinner, but the desserts ended up being my favorite part. The flan was super creamy without being overly sweet, and the chocolate cake tasted really fresh. I’d go back just for dessert. Such a nice way to end the meal

"Felt safe with my nut allergy"
I have a nut allergy, and they were really good about checking everything for me. The server stayed calm, didn’t make it a big deal, and even pointed out what was noted on the receipt so I knew they took it seriously. I actually felt safe eating there, which means a lot.

"Decent options, but I didn’t want to miss out on better picks"
The menu has some solid choices, but after a few visits it started to feel samey. Nothing was bad, I just kept feeling like I might be wasting a meal on something that wasn’t all that different from the last time.

"Really good food, no complaints there"
The food was really tasty and tasted fresh, like someone in the kitchen actually cares about what they’re serving. The salsa had a nice little kick to it, and the enchiladas were probably my favorite part. I’m not saying other places are cutting corners, but this definitely tasted better than a lot of spots I’ve tried lately. I’d go back for sure.

"Easy parking, but the communication could’ve been clearer"
Went to Abuelo’s for dinner and the parking was really easy. There were plenty of spots right up front, so we didn’t have to drive around forever or end up parking way out somewhere. That part was a relief, especially on a busy night. My only annoyance was that the communication wasn’t super clear beforehand, so I wasn’t sure what to expect until we got there. But once we arrived, it was a quick walk in and a quick walk back after dinner. Overall, still a solid experience

"Really good margaritas, thankfully"
The margaritas were actually really good — not overly sweet, which is apparently harder to find than it should be, and they had a nice little kick. I’d go back just for those, even if nothing else was calling my name.

I was surprised in the best way. The food tasted a lot like what I grew up eating, which is apparently a rare concept these days. The enchiladas had a solid sauce that didn’t taste like it came straight out of a can, the beans and rice felt homemade, and the salsa had a nice little kick. I ordered from Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant and everything showed up pretty much how I expected. Just simple, honest Mexican food without trying way too hard. Would definitely order again.

"Shockingly, delivery actually went right"
Ordered dinner from abuelos.com and, weirdly enough, everything went smoothly. The food showed up around the time they said it would, still warm, and packed well enough that nothing turned into a messy science experiment in the bag. The driver was nice too, which is always a bonus. I was fully prepared for it to take forever because, you know, delivery likes to keep things exciting, but there were zero issues. Would definitely order again.

"Manager got back to me, just not super quickly"
I had a problem with my order, and the manager did eventually reply, which I appreciated. I mean, not eventually like it took forever, but it was slower than I expected, and I had to follow up once. Overall it wasn’t a bad experience, just something that could be handled a bit faster.

I’ve ordered from abuelos.com a handful of times, and for the most part it’s been consistent. The food is usually decent and every now and then it’s really good, but I’ve had a couple orders where it felt like maybe they were rushed or having a busy day. Pickup times can be a little off too. From the tone when I’ve called or picked up, I sometimes get the sense they’re juggling a lot, so I try not to judge too hard. Overall, not bad at all, just not always as reliable as I’m hoping for.

I went to Abuelo’s after looking it up on abuelos.com, and booking a table was simple. I was in a good mood going in and excited to have a nice, relaxed dinner. The food was good, and the service was decent too, so no real complaints there.
The only thing that really threw it off was how loud it was inside. I could barely hear the person sitting across from me, which made the whole meal feel a little rushed instead of relaxing. It wasn’t a bad experience, but I probably wouldn’t go back if I was looking for a quieter dinner.

"Food came out nice and hot"
I was really happy with how hot everything came out. Not just lukewarm like you get at some places, but actually fresh and hot. Even my plate stayed warm while I was eating, which I appreciated more than I expected. It’s a simple thing, but it makes the meal so much better. Definitely 5 stars from me.

"Worked well for my gluten-free needs"
I tried this because I have to be careful with gluten, and it was good. It didn’t bother my stomach or cause any issues, which is always a relief. I was a little nervous at first because I’ve been burned before with stuff that claims to be fine but isn’t. Anyway, I had it while making lunch and got distracted reorganizing a kitchen drawer halfway through, but overall, it handled my diet needs just fine
